I was suffering with my left knee for approximately 2 years. I had a full knee replacement 6 weeks ago. The operation was performed by Mr Moholkar who talked me through the procedure throughout the operation which was a great success, and the post operative care was brilliant. The hard work comes with the physiotherapy department who are dedicated to get you back on your feet and walking correctly. There is painful moments during this process but if you persevere I know my quality of life will return.

Very painful left shoulder unable to do many tasks and unable to raise arm above shoulder level. Saw Dr Moholkar who explained everything clearly to me regarding problems with my shoulder and what choices I had to rectify problem, either continue with steroid injections into shoulder or have an operation. I opted for an operation and Dr Moholkar clearly explained the procedure and all the risks attached. On the day of the operation staff looked after me wonderfully, Everything was explained fully at every stage and my aftercare was faultless. I attended physiotherapy and followed instructions while doing exercises at home and this speeded up my recovery. I am now pain free in my shoulder and have full mobility. I cannot find fault with the whole experience and am now able to do everything I used to do before the problem with my shoulder started.

This is my second kneereplacement procedure Having suffered considerable discomfort fromyears of sport my knees began to rebel My surgery has enabled me to continue with my sorts activities and greatly improved my overall health mr Moholkars professionalismand assisted by his team shows the very best of what medical treatment can achieve But it must be rcognised tht the patient must helo by ensuring theydo all the required exerciises and take part in any after care requiredihave had some discomfort following a fall which aain emphasises the need for care following surgery’ If you work with your surgeon and his team the results can be so postive remember it takes two to tango , you must tollow the exercise programme to reap the benefits of the surgeons skills

I have had a total knee replacement. At all times I was treated with courtesy and care. My consultations with Mr Moholkar were very informative and my questions and concerns were all answered promptly' The surgery went well and the ward staff were very caring and efficient during my hospital stay. Aftercare is still ongoing with physio sessions but hopefully all is proceeding normally. I have had the usual battle with the compression stockings but I found that applying strips of micropore tape held the top of the stocking in place and stopped any wrinkling around the knee area. The use of a double (or 2 single) cooker timers set for 20 mins and 2 hours whilst using the ice pack regime as a reminder.
